Credentials and safety

This bot signs Solana transactions, so it needs a full wallet keypair. A Solana keypair has no permission model — there is no trade-only setting the way an exchange API key has. Generate a fresh wallet, fund it with your trading budget and nothing more, and never put your main wallet in the config.

Specific risk for this bot

Sniping brand-new launches is the highest-variance activity in this market. Most new tokens go to zero, and this bot will buy some of them. Scoring reduces exposure to the obvious rugs; it cannot detect all of them.

It can lose money, including all of the amount you fund it with. There is no published track record and no guarantee of profit. Start small.

Getting it running

# Rust stable required
cp .env.sample .env # RPC_URL, wallet, BOT_LICENSE
export RUST_MIN_STACK=33554432
cargo build --release
./target/release/pump_trader

RUST_MIN_STACK is not optional on most Linux setups — the default 8 MB thread stack is not enough for the compiler to build the Solana SDK, and it fails with a bare SIGSEGV on an unrelated dependency rather than a useful error. The README covers this.

Set BOT_LICENSE to the licence string you received. The bot verifies it at startup against https://saylorinnovations.com/api/license/verify and will not run without a valid one.
